September 5, 200817 yr http://blogs.edmunds.com/straightline/PriusTorched555.jpg I saw this story today It's no secret that Hummers are the poster vehicles for bad behavior. Heck, if I put up a post on a Hummer here on Straightline, the resulting comments are almost always negative. There have even been cases of Eco-Nazis vandalizing Hummers (not by Straightline followers, of course), or any vehicle that exudes mucho-machoismo. Now it appears Hummer-lovers and other like-minded are fighting back. Literally. In fact the Toyota Pruis has become the anti-Hummer object of hate to many. Actually this (Prius vandalism) is not a new movement, as it's been going on for some time. What is new is that it appears to be gaining ground among vehicular Neanderthals across the planet.
September 5, 200817 yr What exactly is the issue with the Prius line? Battery meltdowns? Looks more like they have a molotov cocktail problem to me
September 5, 200817 yr Well, people better get use to it, we are going to only see more of them, and less of the Hummer.

September 6, 200817 yr What exactly is the issue with the Prius line? Battery meltdowns? Vandalism. The post is saying that people don't like the car because it isn't "manly enough" or something because those that like macho cars supposedly don't like cars like the Prius? Okay, I actually have no idea about the logic behind it, but vandalism is the problem.
September 6, 200817 yr Nah, I think I'll be wanting one of these babies 2009 Dodge Challenger, http://autoreview.belproject.com/media/1/20070216-2009-dodge-challenger-front.jpg The monster vehicle will be unveiled during the Chicago Auto Show in February next year. http://autoreview.belproject.com/media/1/20070216-2009-dodge-challenger-back.jpg The 2009 Dodge Challenger will probably be based on the current LX platform, shared by Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger. It will be assembled in Canada at Chrysler's Brampton, Ontario assembly plant. http://autoreview.belproject.com/media/1/20070216-2009-dodge-challenger-seats.jpg The company still stays mum on the Challenger's technical characteristics and target price but expect rear-wheel drive, manual gearbox, two doors and a starting price of around $31,000. http://autoreview.belproject.com/media/1/20070216-2009-dodge-challenger-interior.jpg http://autoreview.belproject.com/media/1/20070216-2009-dodge-challenger-dashboard.jpg In its present form, the Dodge Challenger Concept features the 6.1-liter 425 horsepower SRT8 Hemi V8 engine married with a six-speed manual gearbox. The pair is sweet enough to make the car run from zero to sixty in 4.5 seconds and achieve a top speed of 174 mph.
