Hi guys,

currently i run my BF2 at 1024x something, i forgot exactly. I do that through the xyz+ formula in the game shortcut. Anyone know for example i would like to push it up to 1680x1050 which is the res of my samsung monitor. Would that be possible without affecting the fullscreen. Anyone runs the game at this res, how is it. Just thought i should aks before i mess with it.

I'm trying to get it to 1920x1080 on my 40" via HDMI. It's not working. I'd like to fix it but am not replacing this monitor for the game. All my other games work fine.

Maybe try this - it didn't work for me....

"G:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +widescreen 1 +szx 1680 +szy 1050

That's what i use. It works doesn't effect my game play at all, and it looks better

There's a link I was sent I will find it for you.

There is a commmand that you insert in your game run shortcut that will make whatever resolution show no matter what your in game resolution shows as. It may be the same command listed above.

If anyone can find it before I do let him know.

I will look for it. I asked the same question not to long ago so that is why I know.

ya the command i put up there is what changes it to what ever resolution u want it to just replace 1680 with ur resolution X and replace 1050 with ur resolution Y and it will work.
Does it actually display proportionally on a 16:10 monitor? It looks like the map hud is more of an oval instead of a circle.

it shows all the non hud stuff in the correct resolution and doesn't stretch that, but yes the hud is stretched.
