October 15, 200817 yr Found this sweet deal over on the [H]ardOCP website. SLi for under $200! This card is the same as the 8800GT, just with a different name. When I got my two 8800GT's they were $280 a piece. This is a jamming deal. Just want to let you guys know. http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4209965&Sku=P450-9830

October 15, 200817 yr they over heat easily and all i was playing was world of warcraft which doesnt take that much to run.
October 15, 200817 yr All EVGA cards keep really hot with the default fan settings. I installed a 9800 GTX in a friends computer and the default settings had it idling at 60c and loading at 70c+, I installed EVGA Precision and it never gets above 50c now and is still very quiet.
October 16, 200817 yr they over heat easily and all i was playing was world of warcraft which doesnt take that much to run. Bull man. 9600GT here in an OC'd system (video card isn't OC, but CPU is) and haven't had any problem with it for months.
October 17, 200817 yr they over heat easily and all i was playing was world of warcraft which doesnt take that much to run. Honestly say that i have NEVER burned any component out.. not even with rediculous overclocks on them and standard fans.. Currently running my E6850 on stock cooling at 3.7 ghz, GFX cards are both pushed to the limit as well and neither reaches higher than 60DegC
January 30, 201016 yr The one you linked is sold out, but there's another Low Power version for $99.99 after rebate, with free shipping http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=4644390&sku=B52-9826&srkey=bfg%20low%20power%209800%20GT I bought this the other day, and I think it's great. Doesn't even need the extra power input that most of the cards do these days. Also, I'm assuming that low power = lower temperature.
