There is a USB adapter that lets you hook up a PS2 controller. But the PS3 controller is wireless (Bluetooth) and it has all the features the PS2 controller has.

Other way around. Emotion Chip is the PS2s CPU. It's better to have the hardware than emulate it.

That is what I would think, but it was like a year ago or so that I was watching a video complaining that they didn't use more software emulation because the Emotion chip wasn't quite as good. Like the colors were off and the picture was more grainy. Instead the software emulator did a better job of reproducing the picture correctly and made the resolution look better on HD tvs. But like I said before that was a year ago and I can be remembering incorrectly.

Well, the PS2 wasn't produced with HDTV in mind. You'll get the same results with the PS2 playing PS2 games on an HDTV. The Emotion Chip has been the PS2's CPU since it first came out in 2000.

Negative. It's well known that the PS2 software emulation produced worst results than the real hardware.

Just the Blu-Ray is a big kicker... A seperate Blu-Ray player is around 300-400 bux... for that price i can buy the PS3 and besides... i've always been a PS fan .

 

I did like some features of the 360, but lets say, PS3 won by a bit...

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but here is another con for the XBOX 360. Microsoft shells out money to companies to stop them from having downloadable content for the PS3....I would ask if you can believe that, but I guess you might come to expect that from microsoft......BULLSHIT!!!!!

 

Now they do have GOW2, which is a truely amazing game. Now I believe though that it deserves to be played on a different system. Now I know this will probably never happen, but microsoft doesn't deserve another "great" game to be played on their system.
