Anyone tried Aion yet? I am thinking about giving it a try....I had a beta account from FP but never used it.

If anyone has played it or is currently playing it can you please post your likes and dislikes.

It takes a very strong PC to run this game. I am running a Qaud Core Intel and it runs really well. I have not been in a big battle yet though. I am debating if it is going to be better than WoW....
I would buy it in a heartbeat if I weren't in school right now :D As it is, I have enough to do without getting addicted to another MMO right now. One of my friends did get it, he's been a long time WoW player, and he's said all good things about Aion.

You know...I tried this game. Even though I don't play WoW anymore, Aion really made me appreciate how clean and polished WoW is.

I don't think Aion does anything better than WoW. I bought it for the graphics but to be honest, the Far Cry engine is dumbed down so much that the end result is a game that looks less believable than WoW's cartoon graphics.

Just my opinion though.

Whatever happened to Warhammer, was that not any good? i though some people played that

I liked it but I want to play a game with a lot of people on the server. The problem warhammer had was WoW released Wrath and pulled most of the fan base back. It left most of the servers dead. It had a lot of potential but still had a few balance issues to work out.

i played closed and open beta. And well the game starts at lvl 25. Or so they say. In both beta's i was never able to keep on going to lvl 25.

Its just a grind =/ I rather have a game that starts from the beginning and keeps you occupied untill where the game gets intresting. Sure it might be great pvp once you get there. But most people drop off before they get there i noticed.

But thats just my oppinion.

I played through three Closed Betas, and the Open Beta and... it was fun. Fun enough that me and my gf each bought Aion and played some. Went up to lvl28 with mains and was cool, until my account got hacked. Reclaiming and giving me back everything that was stolen/sold/lost took around two weeks and afterwards we just sorta lost the interest. It was somewhat fun - team ups for elite grinds was cool, the graphics are best that any MMO I've seen (and really are beautiful), the music is brilliant for the most part, the skills are fun to use... All in all, a good MMO. But I guess we'll stick to good ole Guild Wars until the second comes out :D
