Posted October 21, 200321 yr My steam was working fine yesterday, I don't know.Today, I want to play a game of DoD...so I try to go onto Steam but it gives me the fairly comman 'Steam-Updating' screen. Ok...these always go by really fast.10 Steam freezes and 12 improper restarts later, I THINK it finally finishs.Ok, time for DoD*clicks 'Game' tab**Steam freezes*"GRRR!!!!"restarts computer..I do this about three more times. I finally just crack and decide to try to get a DoD server from the 'Server' tab.*clicks*HEY! IT WORKS!*refreshs for DoD servers*"hmm...heres a good one...I think I'll add it to my favorites"*right clicks, clicks Add To Favorites List**Steam Freezes!*UGH!restarting my computer is getting old.Clicks on 'Server' tab again, *Refreshs for DoD servers*scrolling...scrolling...scrol- hey wat? frozen again????I've never had this problem in the past, I think it has something to do with the new update.How can I fix this!!!!

October 22, 200321 yr Hayabusa & my son have happen the same "bug" 's steam : 4 hours later, they fund a bug and updated the new steam update but long to download (like the squelet toward his screen computer : where is this picture ?) and your steam reworks again : bad idea to make auto update this steam programmers... Egidio.
October 22, 200321 yr Yeah, I had to use Control Panel to restore Steam to a older update. I used the "Repair" option in the window that pops up after clicking on the Add/Remove option. (I'm using Windows XP Pro, so I don't know what kind of options other have, but this worked for me) After restarting Steam it then updated to the non-bobo version. All is well now.
