okay so i got steam installed today and i was able to play, except instead of my usual ~130-140 ping i got on WON servers, i get a constant 500-600 ping. i went on the the steam forums and changed some stuff including some commands that seemed to help some people: rate 20000cl_rate 9999cl_cmdrate 55cl_updaterate 25I also set steam and halflife at low priority, because that was another suggested fix for the unusually high ping. None of these have worked, and the commands have seemed to have slowed it down even more. anybody know how to fix this? p.s. my sprite (i put in dex's) is really blurry...what is up with that? :D
