Battlefield 1943 becomes the fastest game to reach 1 million

 

Battlefield 1943 has become the fastest game to reach 1 million units sold on Xbox Live Arcade. Released in July 2009, 1943 has also won 4 awards and is the most popular download-only multiplayer action game.

 

24 players get to play on four of the Battlefield 1942 classic maps; Wake Island, Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and Coral Sea remade in the Frostbite engine.

 

Battlefield 1943 is available on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 MS Points and on PlayStation Network for $15 as well as heading to PC.
