November 4, 200322 yr I received an email from steam support team saying i cant play on steam because my HL cd key was already in use or registered or some BS like that. They expect me to buy another HL. I know it is easy to get a CD key but thats not the point...This is the 2nd strike for the whole steam+HL 1 more and im done because the game was fine before and even though it(STEAM) works perfect for some it DOES NOT work correctly for me.Jesus, I don't know why this bothers me so much but it does...-PUNISHER

I also registered my HL game to this email add. when I first in stalled HL on my computer. Try all the email addresses that you have, Maybe that will help guy.
November 4, 200322 yr lol that happened to me, i got a cd key from my frined, but thats to my other friend he game me a cd key that no one registered it with steam so yay for me, but i still have one problem with steam that i'm coping with, i likes to freeze on me every once in a while, and i can't click on selcet arsenal cuz it will freeze.
November 5, 200322 yr Talk to StateCop he has someone you can talk to ,he had this same problem and he called some people at steam, he has a phone number you can call 8)

November 5, 200322 yr Ok....If you had an account during the beta test then try that one....or the first one you created. If none of those work email email this guy TaylorS@valvesoftware.com if you know you are the only one that has your key and you still cant get in. Send this guy your key and all email address you have registered with......Keep in mind if you give your key out to anyone and they registered it before you...you are out of luck...go to the store and pick up another.
