Ok so I went to start up firearms today and it said that my half life platinum pack purchase was unacceptable or something like that. It said to check my email for more detailed information. So I closed that window out and tried to start steam up again and it is asking me to re add half-life to "my games" I clicked ok and chose to clean up older files. Then I tried to join the TA server via steam and it starts firearms up but then windows gets ticked off and closes it.Any idea whats up?

There's a post on steampowered.com's forums about this, it has all the info you need to get up and running again, I think.

I just reentered my cd key and it let me back in so its cool nowI dont know why they couldnt have just let this wait till HL2

TA won't even show up for me

I'll add it to my favorites then i'll go back and it wont be there

Just use HLSW. Remember to change the connect settings to the new location of the hl.exe file.
