Yeah it happens from time to time. It probably takes you a really long time to sign on too right? Its just a connection problem with the server I think, I usually just restart my computer and its fine, unless its a problem with the aol server, and if thats the case then they may be updating the software so the service is temporarily unavailable.Have one of your friends see if it registers you as being online when this happens, chances are it won't. Its more of a connection problem, not a problem with your buddy list.

but when i log on from a different comp it works what the hellthe other comp has netscape aim thing dont know why it would matter

i had to reinstall aim and that fixed it very wierdat least i dindt lose my 100+ buddyies
