The explosive audio team for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has been officially rewarded yet again!

Congratulations to the awesome audio team for yet another award for the explosive audio in Battlefield: Bad Company 2! After returning from London where they received the Game BAFTA for Use of Audio, the team promptly gathered at the DICE headquarters terrace for a photo session with the newly acquired trophy.

In a completely related event, last night saw DICE bring home three awards at the Swedish Game Awards. One for Best Swedish Game of 2010 (Battlefield: Bad Company 2), one for best-selling Swedish game of 2010 (Battlefield: Bad Company 2), as well as the honorary award to the founders of DICE for making Sweden a global powerhouse in game dev (even though they probably didn't realize that when they spent a summer programming Pinball Dreams two decades ago).

The founders of DICE are Fredrik Liliegren, Andreas Axelsson, Olof Gustafsson, and Markus Nyström. Markus is still at the company, heavily involved in the artistic development of Battlefield 3.
