Well, wait no further – on Monday, multiplayer was announced to be playable on the E3 show floor by none other than the General Manager of DICE himself, Karl Magnus Troedsson! We’re happy to report that Battlefield 3 launches on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 October 25, 2011. The gents from DICE really did a superb job of showcasing Battlefield 3, and they’ll be hard at work over the summer to make sure the best, most groundbreaking shooter available is ready this fall. The fans who were able to make it to this year’s E3 got a chance to play Battlefield 3, and a few of them gave us their impressions of the game. Care to see what your peers thought of DICE’s upcoming shooter after playing it for themselves? Take a look at the video below. If you pay attention, you may notice that Karl Magnus had a special visitor giving his feedback on the game. Enjoy! Battlefield 3 came out of E3 with 38 "Best Of" nominations, and we’ve already been honored with two wins! We’ve won "Best of Show" from Shortlist.com, and "Best FPS" from GamePro, and we incredibly thankful. Adding to that is the praise we’re receiving from the press and critics – Ars Technica has said "This is what a modern war game should be, and this is how it should look." GameSpot says "...it’s the prone maneuver, which has been the subject of so much forum talk already, that impresses the most: Hitting the ground and laying down fire via the machine gun’s bipod just feels so right."
