Pun you know what I have for a system.With the switch to 32bit color and some of the stuff Mazor added in to 2.8 FA. I do not know what the min best config is for 1024x768.The old FA used to be around a P2 400, a GF2mx or GTS, and a good efficient soundcard. Remember it was just a HL based game.Now all things are different with Steam. Quote

I am getting TA-Rabid Chipmonks and TA-Rybos computer, which has a 800 Athlon and Radeon 7500, to tune up.I will let you know what it can do before and after I tune it.I am sure it is similar to what you have so it will be a good comparison. I do know it is not a Gateway or DEll but is a store bought one. They put in the vid card b/c the old one died. Quote
BornToDie1955 Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 I have played with the old P2 / 400 (with 64, after 128 and 256MB. ram now) with a nvidia geforce 2 32MB. and a lot of lags when new version of FA begin to update since 2.6...I have now the old son'computer the amd Duron 950 (with 256 but 512MB. ram now) overclocked but run in 950 with now the new nvidia fx 5600 128MB. : 1 week ago was a nvidia geforce 4 Ti 4200 128MB. that the opengl die again ?Egidio.
