If BF3 Stops Working After PB Update

I updated PunkBuster this evening and BF3 would crash. It worked perfectly fine before I updated PB. I found a fix that was posted in the BattleLog Forums and if you have the same problem, here it is:

 

PB files version (v2.292 l A1386)

1 - Uninstall punkbuster by this software http://www.evenbalan...pbsvc/pbsvc.exe [evenbalance.com]

 

2 - download pb files from above

 

3 - delete the pb file in your bf3 folder and put the downloaded pb from Ziget.. mine is.. (C:Origin GamesBattlefield 3PB)

 

4 - Re-install punkbuster from here http://www.evenbalan...pbsvc/pbsvc.exe [evenbalance.com]

 

the version you want is (v2.292 l A1386)
