Yeah it was pretty laggy and they didnt have all the weapons and vehicles that they said they would on the box but it was still pretty coolI'm pretty sure they've fixed the lag issue i'll have to talk to my friend to find out if they did or not
I have CS, i didn't see a M60 or that apc. If fact, dosen't that Apc with the open hatch look like one part from half life?

Well i have spent 3 months playing it....

AVOID IT LIKE THE F'ING PLAGUE!!

not worth the time or the money.

However i am enjoying planetside

Its still 10ish dollars a month, but you can buy game time cards so you dont even need a creditcard.

Only downside? You need a REALLY beefy machine to play it. If you dont meet the recommened specs, then you will have a hard time playing it.

Recommended Specs:

Windows 98/2000/ME/XP (Dont play this on ME, Major bugage)

Pentium III 1.6 GHz or greater (1.5+ is good, 2+ is best)

512 MB RAM (THIS IS LEAST YOU CAN PLAY IT WITH)

Direct3D compliant video card with 64MB+ RAM (128 is best)

DirectX 8.1 compatible sound card

Broadband Internet connection (MUST HAVE)

8X speed CD-ROM

3.5 GB hard drive space (1000MB Vert memory is good)

DirectX 8.1 or greater

The main reason i play it? the large battles

Nothing like 100+ vs 100+ Fights (WITH 0 LAG) over bases and bridges ;) Massive fun for all

EDIT: Thats from a custom map from the Blue shift version of halflife. What your looking at was a spawnin location that had no protection and could be camped if i remember correctly
