April 27, 200421 yr At one time I thought FA was going under but not anymore.Soon 2.9 will be out and FA is getting more recognition from Steam.The FA team might make a HL2 mod, they did discussed it.It wouldnt be an FA 2 but it would be close As Gator said,TA will be around a while anyways...

April 29, 200421 yr Once 2.9 is released and put on the main Steam menu instead of being a 3rd party game people will come and play. Long live FA DoL Rule I couldn't agree about that more. Alot more people are going to try it out and possibly become regulars. The two things that ruined Firearms for me, was for one, the end of Chunkyboys. I played there alot when I had the time, but then it was ruined by that hacker kid. Then the 3 most respectable Firearms servers(Chunkyboys, The Armory, and Tracy's Trailer Park) were reduced to 2. Steam was the nail in the coffin for me. Every time I play Firearms, I get an illegal error, and it screws everything up. I've tried everything, including reupdating(many times), reinstalling (many times), reinstalling Firearms (many times) and even redownloading everything (many times). I'm fed up with this crap with Steam. FA is the only mod that has those hl.exe problems with Steam. Its probably that 3rd party stuff. The truth is, all mods die.
