Now we just need the SATA controllers to handle that type of speed technology is really jumping lately by a lot as well.  Not even PCIe bandwidth would be able to handle that much. :signs8:
That is what I was wondering. Can a system even be built at descent price at this stage that can still maximize that type of performance.

I think the article said that PCIe would be used initially but would not utilize the full speed the memory was capable of. Hence the new design of motherboard interfaces to accommodate that.

 

I liked the idea of it possibly being a dual role item too... RAM and HDD.
