Including aerial warfare balancing and what world destruction could have to offer Something to consider is that there have only been rumors and speculations and no official announcement or look into what Bf5 will actually be has been released ( as far as i know ). Personally i think their ideas /reasons are interesting and I am all for it except for a few concerns on an increase in snipers(campers) being a problem. Let me know what you think!
March 24, 201610 yr If it goes WWI we better get bayonets! But I really hope they are wrong about everything.. I want BF5 set in like 2050 or 2100 since BF4 went to 2030 i believe
March 24, 201610 yr If it were to go to WW1 setting, I think a lot of players would be rather upset. Open terrain and jumping into and out of trenches is not fun. Both sides were pretty much using the exact same guns. The Maxim was used by both sides and took 3 guys to move and operate it. Everyone gets a bolt action rifle. The airplane had been out for about 10 years. The tank was invented for this war. Wasn't very good either or reliable either. The Thompson came out to late to be used. John Moses Browning guns' were first introduced to the military is the only high point. I think players would be happier with a civil war version instead. There is a reason no one tackles this genre of FPS shooter and that is why Verdun is about the on game out there and most players never heard of it until these articles came out. http://i.imgur.com/P0IFZXw.jpg Translation is Closed until 2142. March 25, 201610 yr 2142 is the year as in Battlefield 2142. You connect the dots Way to many things pointing towards 2143 for next game. If I were to place a bet, I would bet on that. I guess we will find out on June 12-15 at EA play event.
