Ok, I see some of you want to join the millions of users who use (Internet Relay Chat) or IRC. First go to http://www.mirc.com/get.html and pick a download site, download and install MIRC

 

Once you have installed MIRC, go to to tools, options

Make sure on servers it says gamesnet. And pick either Random US EAST server or WEST, Whichever that is appropiate to your location

Check this picture for info how to get started. Normally in MIRC you do not need to register for an authorized gamesnet account. You can use any nickname. However if you want to hold ops (moderation of a channel) you need to be authorized. Lets say TA wants their own channel you can go to #support and set that up.

Here are some basic commands,

 

/join #NAME (This joins a channel, in this case #name) [ALL CHANNELS HAVE # BEFORE THEM]

 

/nick NAME (Changes your nickname, in this case changing it to "NAME")

These are just some basic instructions to get you on, I can give indepth instructions if TA wants to start their own IRC channel. This is just for solo use. Also here are some good channels to remember

Also forgot, on Tools>options, right before servers is "Connect" go there and setup your nickname that way too.
