SOME BATTLEFIELD V DEVS ARE MOVING TO WORK ON STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT 2

Featured Replies

It’s unclear how this November will turn out for Battlefield V given that it has to go up against Fallout 76 and the newly announced Red Dead Redemption 2‘s online mode, but it seems that there will be some DICE developers attention split working on Battlefield V and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 or fully devoted to the latter game as of right now.

Having played Battlefield V‘s open beta, I can confirm that it’s glitchy and has a lot of problems. Given that the game has stirred up the hornet’s nest in the promotional, pre-order and gameplay department, you would think that EA and DICE would focus heavily on Battlefield V especially since it’s missing features like dragging players and so on, but there’s another side to the story.

According to YouTuber Battlefront Knight and some DICE devs, the latter (as of this moment) is either working on both Battlefield V and Star Wars: Battlefront 2or has their full attention on Battlefront 2.
