World War 3 has announced that the new patch went live today. Should rebalance the game and fix some connectivity issues. Download, play, and report back!

The verdict from playtesting the game last night is that it is massively more playable than before. We still hit one bad server, but much more in the realm of 60-80 ping with closer to 60 fps. Hit reg felt a lot more solid and the weapon tweaks were paying off. People were actually dying when you shot them (armor was drastically reduced). It felt like the game that should have dropped at launch. Still rough around the edges.

Few bugs we ran across include not being able to see the flags or spawn in. The workaround on the spawn in bug is to hit escape and click respawns. The inability to see flags was sporadic and couldn't be fixed without loading into a new match.

With another content patch due this month, I think this game is solidly on track.

The game has subsequently been patched twice to fix stability and bug issues. The current version is 0.1.3. We found that at least one person wasn't getting regular Steam updates for the game. If you can't load into matches, make sure to verify your game files. This should trigger any patch downloads.
