Posted January 11, 20196 yr Looks like Bungie and Activision are splitting over Destiny 2. Bungie will take over full control of the Destiny franchise as Activision reportedly said it wasnt performing as expected. Maybe a sign that studios will finally start realizing the mega publishers aren't the only way to go. January 11, 20196 yr Author They said it wont immediately impact Destiny 2. It will remain on Battle Net, but Bungie will be transitioning to take over production roles that Activision handled. I'd expect hiccups with releases of future patches in terms of advertising/resources. Bungie freely admitted it will have a lot to learn.
