Division 2 will have support for up to 50 member clans with support for news feeds, clan member ranks (4 ranks - Commander, Lieutenant, Agent, Recruit), advertisement of clan preferences (hours of play, mic reqs, play style), and all of this will be accessible in game. You will also be able to search for clans you would like to join. Clans can be public, invite-only or private. Private clans are not searchable but members can invite. The clan system will support similar challenges Ghost Recon brought about in terms of group efforts helping everyone in the clan. Everyone playing in the clan will earn Clan XP which will help award clan loot crates and other weekly challenges will be available exclusive to clans. Clans will also have a 1-30 level progression system, unlocking insignia and other ways to show off the veterancy of the clan. A portion of the White House HQ will be devoted to your clan as well.

Ubisoft just released an article about this (looking for the link for the Ubisoft Launcher article on it). PC Gamer link instead.

Weekly projects, clan XP, unique vendors and more.

It looks like we will be getting at least some community support for Division 2 which is a step up from other recent efforts out of Ubisoft. I know a few of us are getting Division 2 and clans need a minimum of 4 separate accounts to create a clan. Keep a look out for a TAC clan on Division 2. If you're planning on getting this game, please reply so we can form up a clan on day one.

The Year 1 Pass includes the following additional content:

  • 7-Day Early Access to Episode Narrative Content
    • Owners of the Pass will have a 7-day early access to the narrative content only, included in all Year 1 Episodes.

[*]Instant unlock of the Year 1 Specializations

    • At launch, The Division 2 will include three Specializations, instantly available to everyone when reaching max level (Level 30).
    • Throughout Year 1, we will release three additional Specializations for your agent. Year 1 Pass holders will unlock these new specializations as soon as they're released.
    • For those who do not have the Year 1 Pass, specializations will be released at the same time, but must be unlocked over time through gameplay.
    • Year 1 Pass holders will also be able to earn exclusive cosmetic items with each Specialization's release.

    [*]Exclusive Access to Classified Assignments

    • Over the course of Year 1, Pass holders will have exclusive access to 8 Classified Assignments, which will provide more story behind the events leading to your arrival in D.C.
    • Completing each assignment will award you with a unique and exclusive backpack trophy to customize your Agent's look.

    [*]Additional Bounties and Projects

    • Bounties in The Division 2 are special tasks to eliminate specific enemy targets, while Projects are assignments to complete various tasks around D.C.
    • As a Year 1 Pass holder, you will get access to one additional Bounty per week and one extra Project per day for a Challenging mission.
    • This perk ends on March 1st, 2020.

    [*]Exclusive Cosmetic Items

    • Year 1 Pass holders will get access to these exclusive rewards: the Agent Ward Outfit and the Scout emote.

You can get the Year 1 Pass with the Gold or Ultimate Editions.

I liked it. They fixed a lot of bugs between open and closed. A lot of what was wrong with Divison 1 is fixed here, but not everything. It's hard to speak to things like story line because they obviously held back in the betas. PvP is good but still some questions about what it will feel like in late game where more stats are in play. The normalization at level 8 (beta max level) felt good most of the time. Certainly times you got melted and weren't sure how.

The best is the PVE. It is challenging with AI that flanks, rushes, and pushes your strategy to the limit. Normal is doable as solo or duo, but going higher means actually applying thought and tactics as a team. End game PVE felt really good with a complex stat system and the craziest enemies.

Still has some flaws and unanswered questions. I do know a few "hell no to Division 2 players" after Division 1 and they have come around.
