Comanche CXL'D

hmm...i think it would have been ok to produce but i just am partial to the whole idea of a helo(if i cant have some sort of anti-tank/multipurpose mech)
I wouldn't be surprised if it was scrapped to open up the budget for more unmanned aircraft. It won't be long til the day comes it when it is possible to operate the majority of unmanned aircroft through either direct control or human assistance.

well thats when us FPS/Piloting game freaks come into our own...as sad as that is its ok in my book if it saves lives
HAHAHAHAHA :p Commanche Scrapped. And all, that remains after it is large hole in budget and few Computer Games.... how appropriate. To waste bilions on few games...
Imagine how many apaches that could have been fielded with the money sunk into the commanche.Heh, and there goes a franchise for novalogic. :p
disapointed at first too, I really liked the comanche and its going to cost 400 jobs+, but then it hit me. The comanche has already been made obsolete by new unmanned attack jet/prop and helicopters. They would do the same job as the comanche more efficiently, cheaper and with no loss of life. And with the relative ease involved with shooting down a helicopter (stealth wont help when the enemy is simply eyeballing you with an RPG or Grail) now a days, this is all a good thing. Besides, Im sure the comanche program netted almost enough knowledge on the next generation of rotary aircraft in general to almost make up for the 2 billion put into the program. Now if they cancel the F-22, than we will know Rummy is hitting the wacky weed
omg, they already cut down on production of the F-22 for the shizzy Joint Strike Fighter. If they cancel the F-22 we will lose air superiority by 2010 to the Russian S-37. (I think that's its name)Bah, whats wrong with us.
OH MAN!!! THE COMMANCHE OWNZ!It certainly is fierce compition for any chopper. Even an Apache. The Commanche is also a stealth aircraft.

-PUNISHER]do you play FA anymore Random?

i want to bayo you... :p

bring it on  i still got some of my "knifeinyourface" skill  i will be on all night tonight

but you are right i have been MIA for about 3 months.... hardware problems

Eurofighter does not own the F-22. the Euro is better in a dog fight but the F-22's electronics can detect and destroy euro long before they meet up lose. Also, the F-22 is considered the "best"Even European countries admit to that, except for maybe Russia.
If you ask me sadly a waist of cash... And about the JSF they are already cutting back on orders ,in favor of lockheeds big concurent Boeing(the leading producer in unmand aircraft), fore the unmand planes. I gues they are the future... At the mean time the US is building a virtual copy of the earth, should be ready in September... It would be used to test tactics, practice,... See the posibilities, i hope they will fight a war every year against the best of the gaming world. Now that would be cool. US military vs the Freaks :p although I wonder if my house in there to. Sounds a bit big brother to me.
