I think most people know my usual compliment. mp5, full medium, and a claymore. I don't need a sidearm, because I almost always have stealth, so the kniefh is my friend. I also use full heavy and a famas. Just know how to dodge :)
Only time I've carried a sidearm is if I'm sniping.... which is so rare I just said never :)My usual loadout is full heavy, Sterling (with Noma first now, instead of Mark 1), bandages, and a Claymore. If I'm playing a map with alot of long distance work like Durandel or Marie, then it's full Medium, G36, Claymore, and Bandages with Mark 1Medic is full heavy, Saiga 12k, Claymore, First Aid.Unfortunatly, I'm too much of a rusher to use anything else. I want to get up close, dodge, and spray.FAMAS=instant death for me. The clip on both it and the Uzi are too small to be of any use for my style.
It seems to me, after my first MP5 Clip, if the FAMAS carrier is still alive (Which he always is) He'll just own me with his Noma (Which he always has) Oh, and if he doesn't kill me with that, my bandages break or something while I'm trying to bandage :)
all of this FA talking makes me want to play FA again after 2 weeks.. =/ of NS...Well, my usual loadout is any gun.. depends on the map, and a pistol. If the map is long range, then I go for AK47, G3A3.If short, then MP5, Sterling. with stealth ofcourse.
I have 2 favoritesAK74, heavy armor with legs and helmet, bandages. Mark 1G36E, Full medium, bandage. AgilityUnfortunately, being new and all, I do not possess the firearms skillz to use the famas and break the 1 death/1kill ratio. Heh, I don't even know how to aim it at long range. :)

I regularly kill famas users. It's all about the head, baby. There are only a few famas users I really have trouble with. The EF regulars for example :)
That is such a mischaracterization, just because a pistol may use fewer credits doesn't make it less affective at killing i.e. a sidearm. I personally pistol/knife nearly everytime I play and do fine. You must remember that accuracy will own on volume of fire everytime. One HS is worth a crap load more than a 30 round clip. That being said I'd take a pistol to compliment my regular gun because you are not always right next to the person when you run out of ammo. For example you empty your <insert whore gun> and they are too far to knife, it helps to have a "sidearm" then doesn't it.
Yeah, I carry a sidearm only with my SSG. Everything else, it doesn't seem necessary. HOORAH for most kills with SSG and 1911. 8)
if you wanna get a kill with a pistol then use just pistols

that doesn't make any sense
Sidearms in FA are pretty useless. They don't play much of a rolein FA. The Desert Eagle has some practical use since it has some fire power but its also expensive. I've tried to go Sidearms and it would beeasier to use a submachine gun then pump about 6 clips into a guys chest.
I thought we were actually talking about weapons you carry when you're out and about, then I'd say my 1911'sin game, pffft without nomenclature, unloading a full clip and they live, switch to a knife and pray you're quick enough
