March 8, 200421 yr i use a Saitek Cyborg Graphite.. i beleive some of the others have the logitech 3d pro.. one or two have the force feedback models but this game doesnt support that and i've heard the tension gets messed up sometimes.. but.. figure out what you can afford.. figure out how many buttons you want.. figure out if you want a hat switch.. throttle.. etc.. and youll find you've narrowed your selection down quite a bit..
March 8, 200421 yr Author i dont know what i want or anything thats why im asking lol ive never really gotten into the joysticks to much so any advice is welcome and appriciated
March 8, 200421 yr Freak, I use the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. Aside from the ergonamics, I like the size of the throttle tab. Especially if you'll be flying helos, having complete control over the throttle is important. I have used the Cyborg and liked it for flight simulators, but personally preferred the Extreme 3D for the way it fits my hand and the easier to manipulate throttle.
March 9, 200421 yr I agree with Claymore. The Evo is great. The joystick is soooo customizable.Try it.
March 9, 200421 yr I use a Logitech Wingman Extreme. I don't know if they make them any more, but they are probably pretty cheap and very stable. It has a HAT, which I never have found a use for. It is made to fit your RIGHT hand pretty nicely. They might come in a lefty, but I am guessing you are a righty. This it what I have, but there isn't any read junk on the base. What is that on the base? A slide Throttle? http://3dnews.ru/documents/288/lwed.gif
March 12, 200421 yr I use my old joystick Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel version 1.0 from Microsoft to fly with all planes, but i crash myself on the Heli ??? Egidio.
