March 9, 200422 yr Okay, I need help.I tried to open Day of Defeat thru Steam. It updates, and it opens perfectly.I try to enter a server and it loads.. but then it says that its Downloading something called 'Security Module', it finishes.. then just closes my game.I tried again with Counter Strike. Same thing, update CS, open, try a server, downloads Security Module, then shuts off..R1Pp3r-
March 9, 200422 yr thats happened to me too but it always straightened itself out but you could also try a log out the log back on to steam
March 10, 200422 yr You're not running CD or other gaming programs when you play CS do you? They might interfere. Or just trying to reinstall might work too, but reinstalling is teh scuk. 8)
March 10, 200422 yr Why would you even try to play CS!?!?!Anyhoo, the Security Module thing is mandatory to download. i dont know what it does, but eventually the games will work.
