March 20, 200421 yr Author the website explains itself Alkulukuja Kakkiva Karhu Prime Number Pooping Bear
March 20, 200421 yr I wonder how it calculares that, and what is the range, that it can go to (integer, long integer). I wonder if the calculation method used here is effective, and if its used to calcutale the highest primes. And of course, can it determine 'algorythm of primes'.

March 20, 200421 yr I don't think there's an equation for all prime numbers, but I may be wrong. He probably just got a list of prime numbers and programmed them in.If you think that site is good, you should see him live, he's quite a showman too.
March 20, 200421 yr Although I am in awe, I will not show this beast mercy... I shall instead hunt it so linear numbers everywhere are safe.
March 20, 200421 yr i think there is a formula fore prime numbers, a very complex one, but the fact is that nobody can prove if it is correct becouse than you should calculate every prime number, and i have no intention on doing that:p
March 21, 200421 yr Far away in time, when i was young and at high school, i remember that the prime numbers first fonction is they can divide by itself...(1,) 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 11... I dont remember the others !!!Next explications are for another day... My brain is like a diesel engine, take long time to heat before runing... Egidio.
March 21, 200421 yr  Well I guess the bear likes to poop in numbers Wow I guess it will never stop it will just keep going and going and going
March 21, 200421 yr I don't think there's an equation for all prime numbers, but I may be wrong. He probably just got a list of prime numbers and programmed them in. Actually... there is a mathematical formula ( developed by C.P. Willans )to determine whether a number is prime or not. The theory surpasses any math most of us will ever have taken or will have to take. But the formula in itself is not too complex For those interested : http://www.bath.ac.uk/~ensab/Primes/ As for the d00d of the website... with that kind of "p00ping" mentality... i doubt he actually applied the formula lol Pyro
March 21, 200421 yr somone should put the poor bear out of its misery!?!if you were a bear would you want to sit and poop numbers all day in front of poeple? NOPE you would want to hibernate all winter... mabie he just woke up..... it is spring now... :|
March 22, 200421 yr It should work... I have this huge poster in my dorm of a single number thats more that 20 000 digits long and supposedly the number is supposed to be prime... never tested it out on the formula though...
March 22, 200421 yr Look at the last digit: of it can be divided by 2, is 5 or 0 - its not prime. If it is not, then the chances are better....
