i am concerned that the REAL creators of "FA" ... are seeing no $ for their 2 yrs of effort to create it and continue to offer many of us for free updates for it ... which "sierra" has continually refused them a "buyout" ... perhaps we should feel lucky sierra with their change to steam to eventually make more $ from download offers, that they allow firearms ... but you won't see it on store shelves like other game add-ons ... WE MUST ALL ACCEPT TO PAY AT STORE OR ON NET TO PLAY ON NET WITH SUCH SOFTWARE ... WE WANT TO KNOW THE CREATOR OR CREATORS OF FA AND A SECURE PAYPAL LINK IF SIERRA STILL REFUSING YOU HARD WORKERS OF THE BEST GANE EVER ... PLEASE PROVIDE THE MANY WORLD LOVERS OF YOUR FA GANE A SECURE LINK TO COMPENSATE YOU FOR YOUR HARD EARNED AND DESERVED HRS FOR 2 YRS OF FREE SERVER USE ...ALL OF YOU FA LOVERS LIKE ME, REMEMBER, THE SERVERS YOU PLAY IN HAVE COSTS AND THE SPOFTWARE CREATOR ALSO DESERVES PAYMENT IF YOU USE IT FOR SAY ABOUT 30 DAYS OR MORE ...BE FAIR AND REASONABLE AS THE U.S. Charter of Rights = Human Rights says the world should be for all countries as we are trying to do at cost of soldier lives in other countries. Actually, i believe alot of the FA team members, while doing this for free, are also getting quite alot of cash back in return. I know the sound effects people are working on commercial mods because of what they did with firearms; I know every team member has a rather large ammount of resume pushing because of Firearms, i know Ben said he got a rather nice job because of his work with firearms, and i believe firearms was also sold to Sierra in 2.4, which got members of the team some cash as well. So, yes; they ARE getting money back. Besides, you don't do things like this for money. You do alot of things like this, simply because you love to do it.

also, if sierra/valve 'bought out' Firearms, the team would lose total control of it and the community would have no input in the game

and the whole FA concept would suck because Valve is a horrible company. (except for the origional half-life)
