March 22, 200422 yr i bought 2nd bf cd to let both pcs play it online at same time.is there an easy way to change the cd key number or must i uninstall, reboot, delete remaining folders, clean reg, reboot, reinstall, redownload updates & DC ?Hmmm. guess we'll need 2 bfv cds as i presume they have cd # too ?

March 22, 200422 yr You can not have the same CD keys on at the same time...you must have 2 keys..1 for each computer.
March 22, 200422 yr Author lol ... ok ... i'll try easier cd changer for bf & bfr in other pc ... otherwise have to reinstall wit hnew cds.I understand needing 2 cd and keys for 2 home pcs for main software. But to have to also buy doulbe addons seems maybe a bit much.So bfv has key too eh ?
March 22, 200422 yr Author the cd changer appears to have added my new key for bf.i looked in registry and saw the ergc folder and key changed by changer.i did not see a ergc folder for road to rome addon that has key too. there was a road to rome folder higher on reg list in different folder, but no ergc or key anywhere. i'll see what happens.
March 24, 200422 yr Author THANKS ... changing bf key number to one on 2nd bought cds saved much hassle. got both bf's in online game of bf.road to rome key not found... attempts to get both pcs in rome online game got map noty found in pc2 so i uninstalled and reinstalled pc2 rome ... now bot pcs get in rome map online.bfv installed in both pcs got cd key in use window ... darn ... got 2nd bfv because i was very impressed with the maps, sounds and music. i found 1st key in reg and changed it to 2nd key. if not work no biggy, just uninstall, rebbot, reinstall.cy'all there one of these nights.Salute
March 24, 200422 yr Each time i do to purchase 2 games for to have 2 keys because there is 1 for my son & 1 for i if we would to play together in the same game with 2 differents computers on the same cable with a router...Egidio.
March 24, 200422 yr Author 2nd pc bfv locked up, trying to get in same server as 1st pc.... so uninstall, reboot, reinstall, reboot ... both pcs bfvs got in same sever.as to whether the gf2-64mb will bo okay in higher action online servers remaoins to be seen.
March 26, 200422 yr Author no problemos yet.pc1=1.5 p4/512 cache/512 ram/128mb gfxfx=high sound/med video 800 x 32.pc2=1.3 amd(p4)/same above but 64 mb gf2=high sound/low vid 800x16.no choppiness in pc2 with 8+7 ai's... yet to see how it does with same or more armory players ... was fine with 4 stealing each others flags and running back and forth to get them back
March 28, 200422 yr Author for those of u wondering of your pc abilities with BFV, results for me with high speed cable in armory nam with about 13 /side are :amd pc2 no chop, except for the choppers i could not fly, lol.intel p4 pc1 got little bit choppy , which may have been busy router with both pcs, so lowering vid to low from med stopped chop.See above for pcs details.Salute
March 30, 200422 yr I think i do to buy a new computer because the amd Duron 950 is old now for bf:v : i freeze when i have high ping making long lag for 10" to 2' and more ???What is the best performances : P4 or AMD Athlon 2600+ / 2800+ ? Any idea welcome...The rest, sound (Audigy 7.1), graphics card (fx 9500 or 9550) and other stuffs are not important, i know the best cards... Only µp because they change a lot of time performances !Egidio.
