Hello all sorry I haven't been on the forums or in the server lately but I have been busy helping pack and so on b/c me and my family are moving to Argentina and basicaly they told me to get a new computer (since if you haven't heard for the past years Argentina has been in a bad situation and the electronics are extremely expensive there) so I need help picking out a new computer with ultimate gaming possibility or if I should get it custom made and where, hopefully somewhere near Toronto. Thank you all who answer this and give me ideas and advice.P.S. In Argentina the Internet is extremely fast so hopefull i won't lag anymore lol and until April 22nd I'll enjoy the server as much as I can b/c I'm gonna have to wait a while to get the internet set up in Argentina.

Well, sounds like you're going to be in for quite an adventure! :shock: And I must ask...why such the long move? Do you speak Spanish? Do you know the capital of Argentina without looking it up? :wink: As far as the computer, I'll let others put in on that. But I'd say at least a 2.4Ghz P4 with nothing less than 512 MB RAM, and at least 128 MB of video memory. Also remember that the type of monitor you get will also determine the ammount of fps you get, as a refresh rate cannot go over the refreshrate (85Hz, for example) of the monitor at the selected resolution. ¡Pues, bien viaje!

doesn't argentina speak portugese, but anyway check out http://www.pricewatch.com they list all sorts of prices from different locations. hope this helps

The people Brazil speak portuguese (though i wouldn't be surprised if northern parts of argentina spoke portuguese). Anyways a few of the guys here know a lot about computers so they should be able to help you.
