lol i know being kicked is not much of a big deal, lol, just im curise what did i do, was it was beacuse i went AFK all of a sudden in the middle of a map, did i block somboy in? or what lol i just wnat 2 know, cause i didnt mean it at all just 2 let u guys know, had 2 help my perants with stuff when they got home, i came back and i was kicked, i wasnt ban.. was i? lol

I don't know any specifics about it, but in general, if the server is full and someone goes AFK for a while, they will be kicked to make room for others. Don't take it personally, just rejoin when a slot becomes available again.-Fatty

i have a 10 minute rule, when the server is full if a player has 0 kills and 0 deaths (and or has not selected a team yet) i will kick them... If you were kicked for violating some rules i am sure you would have been told about it!

I don't think this is fair - you should ask them if they're also around. On large maps while sniping it can be fairly easy to go by 10 minutes without anyone seeing where you are at , or seeing anyone. I know it's happend to me a few times.

oh i sure make sure that they are not there 1st, i understand that just kicking a player thinking he is AFK would be out of order.. if i am admining in HLSW i always make sure that i send at least 3 messages to the person over the 10 minutes. and one a minute before i do actually kick the person... usually if they are sorting something out AFK they will be watching the screen and usually return and let me know...

I was the one who kicked you for being afk. As LFM said, you didn't do anything wrong, the server was full though and I wanted to open up a spot for someone trying to get in.

lol ok ty, just wasnt sure wether i did, i thgoht so it was becuase i went AFK, sorry lol i wont go afk again , lol ok ty for clearing that up, and i dont take it persanly at all, your server is the best, and i would prefer being able 2 play on it and not have afk ppl bloking it always once agian t for clearing taht up for me gosh i cant spell

If you don't kill somebody or die in 10 minutes in Firearms, you're not actively playing the game and need to make room for somebody who will.Alright, so it's durandal, and the enemy rushes the sewer lets say, 3 times. They cap each time. You just joined the server, and go down there, thinking people will show up. People never do, and you just stay there protecting it. You're actively playing the game - You're protecting the base - but havn't seen anyone to frag/die because of yet.

The point is, admins will send a message to players that appear to be afk. If the players respond, then they have nothing to worry about. If not, they are assumed to be afk, and when the server is full, they will get the boot so someone else can play.It's not a big deal. People are not kicked without reason and/or warnings.

You're assuming the said people can even see your notices or questions. I know when i play on most servers, i don't put hud_saytext to 0 so i don't have to look at alot of spam and most times can concentrate soley on the game play. What you guys should do, is if you want to kick AFk players, is get an AFK admin-mod based script that automatically kicks players who are AFK more than X minutes, where X could be 5, 10; whatever you want. That'd really be the most fair way to do it.

Let me clarify something here, I ran past Stealth about ten times and he was just standing there, obviously afk. I gave him plenty of time to rejoin the game and only kicked him when it looked like he would not be back for a while. If you are defending the base or the like and are not showing a score, I think most admins will send you a msg, even a private msg to see if you are afk.

Guy im tottaly fine wiht you guys kicked me lol, i agree completely and yes just ask i wasnt heri so its ok lol i would have 2 agree wiht you and your server is the best, everyboy deserves 2 be able 2 get into it, having AFK ppl wouldnt help at all. keep it up guys
