April 24, 200422 yr hey, has anyone gotten this demo(s)?I'm having trouble connecting to a server.It gives me something like this:*connecting to portal...*...*...*...then is just keeps on going on until it says Server not responding, may be down.anyone know what to do? I want to play this game so bad!
April 24, 200422 yr Did you get beta demo version 2?This was also a problem for us last weekend when Gator setup a soldner server on the BFV server. Once we got a certain number of players, some people just could not connect.
April 24, 200422 yr Author yea I got the second beta...I just try any server, some near full (like 15/16) some lower (4/16) and some empty...still can't connect
April 24, 200422 yr I talked to someone who knows alot more about soldner than i do, and he said that their netcode was royally f***ed up and alot of people couldn't connect to servers; that server + client authenication were /really/ messed up and often weren't on the same level. *shrug*
April 24, 200422 yr Author I thought they would've fixed that in their second beta, it said that they did fix alot of bugs, why didn't they fix the most problematic one?

April 25, 200422 yr BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, no one told you to, Das Huhn. Go back to the FA forums. :PI'm just kidding. I downloaded it and installed succesfully, but then it didn't want to run. Not even in safe mode. Ba-lee-ted!
April 25, 200422 yr The first beta worked fore me, exept that sometimes when a certain amount of players connected you got a ping of like 10000. So nobody could play anymore. That totaly sucked. Haven't downed the new beta becouse i reached my 10gig download limit of this month and i am on small band at the moment :evil:
