OK i had to format and I reinstalled steamnow its asking me for my account name?I have been using my e-mail adress since I have been usin steamnow here is the problemsI nolonger have access to the e-mail that I signed up for.I dont want to make an new account so.HOw do I found out what my steam account name is??

It's should still be the same email address with the same password. Your email address, not your account, is just like your sign-in name. Or so I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. (In reality, I'm just making this stuff up. Sorry for being useless in this matter. 8))

 

So, just try using your old email address and password to sign in.

If you do not get to the e-mail address and/or remember the password.The activation code goes to your (old) e-mail address.Try right clicking on the steam icon in your tray if it is there. Otherwise write an e-mail to Statecop in our clan. He has the Steam contact info or you may goto the Steam forums where I am sure there is help.

well see like I stated I nolonger have access to that e-mail addressand I know I am entering the correct e-mail/passwordand i doubt statecop would help mehe has banned me from the server a few times.
