I bought and installed BF nam but when i try to run the game it brings up the BF Vietnam screen then i get an error message about bfnam.exe not working or somfin...I have uninstalled it and reinstalled twice but its still not working, plz helpthanx

If already not make, update your graphics card, your sound card, the Direct X 9.0b and defrag your hd : perhaps the game run good after that ?Egidio.

um.. you gave little to no info about whats going on you said you start the game see some screen then get an error.. wich screen do you see? ea games screen? see the intro movie? see the game setup? what type of processor do you have? video card? motherboard? ram? soundcard?

Sounds like the problem I had with 1942. Try using either the newest or the one before that soundcard driver.

I am a technical nub...how can i update my sound driver

if your soundcard is one of those built in sound cards (part of your motherboard) you should be able to get new drivers for it on the motherboards and or computer manufacturers webpage
