The 3rd of the first person stealth series, Thief, is on the horizen. I have recieved in my Email a notice that the release date will be May 26th.

 

A few of you may be familiar with the Thief series. The game where you play Garrett, the master thief, breaking into houses and tombs and making off with a fortune. The game is set more around stealth and cunning than mindless shooting.

 

After Thief 2, Looking Glass Studios folded. I figured at that point that Thief 3 would never happen.

 

Thankfully, I was wrong. Eidos picked up alot of the original Looking Glass crew to make Thief:Deadly Shadows. They dumped the old engine (The Dark Engine) and decided to create the new game around the UNREAL engine. As a result, this game promises to be some real eye candy.
