Linux?

Featured Replies

I was thinking about trying out Linux just for something different. I'm slightly annoyed at all the problems Windows has and all the viruses that are spread through it, so I might be taking an alternative. The only thing that bothers me is that linux isn't the best with games. So I was wondering, for like Steam and other such games, would I have to download a seperate full linux install? Or just the normal full install. Say I wanted FA, is there a seperate full 2.8 install for linux? or do I just get the normal one. I dont want to run a server, I just want to play the games. Also, I know Linux is open source, and there is alot of modifications for it. Does anyone know a mod for it that is specifically designed towards Windows games?Any further help would be great!thanks
to my knowledge there's no client release for steam for the Linux OS so you wouldn't be able to play FA. Sorry!
