May 23, 200421 yr Will there be a quick installation guide for the Windows Version of FA 2.9. ? I have often problems to keep my settings when i reinstall FA (sometimes i am a dummie). Thanks in advance..
May 23, 200421 yr Ssve your config.cfg file in the FA folder. Also save your maps, menus, models, sprites(crosshairs). They will all work with 2.9.The sprites will need to be careful as they have updated some of them. This will save all of your useful stuff.

May 23, 200421 yr Author Thanks for the answer mcgyver. I only played 2.8. and i have no experience in installing a newer fa version. After saving the files, must i deinstall or delete the old fa, before installing the new one ?
May 23, 200421 yr It should go over the top but I would delete the 2.8 FA folder and then install 2.9.Then experiment with the saved stuff. Save the NEW items(Menu, Models, config.cfg etc etc) to your documents then.....You will need to copy and paste but do not overwrite anything.
