After installing the new patch i cant play BF:Nam anymore.It takes forever to load up the maps then when i finally do get in i can only play for 2 mins, in which time i lag bad, then i get disconnected from server.Any help plz?

double check your settings make sure punkbuster is enabled etc.. we will have to try it when the 2.9 celebration is over and see if we can get you fixed up..

If you can't wait, I'd try just uninstalling and reinstalling it...

Wellsy I noticed my map changes are taking longer also. I defragged and it seemed to help a good bit.
It's good you are not in a rush tho, most of us were pretty disappointed with the patch. Don't get me wrong, the fixes done were needed. We just were expecting more content and it wasn't there. :/

I took Carl's advice and re-installed BF:Nam but still it no worky worky. Its doin the same as it did last time , and thats with the patch installed.HELP MEH!
check the BF:V forums, i think i have heard alot of people have been having problems starting since 1.01v

Did you make note of where the folders are ... uninstall ... reboot ... del folder remnants remaining ... run registry cleaner ... reboot ... defrag ... reinstall ... reboot ? ;)
