May 24, 200421 yr The old red or blue vests copied/pasted into models\players aren't working anymore with 2.9. Unless I did it wrong, was working fine in earlier versions. I copied the models\players folder from 2.8 won folders to steam fa 2.9 models folder.Any knowledge or opinions ?
May 24, 200421 yr Author Doh !! It's ok now. I assumed partner had done it correctly and posted when got home from work. Then did it myself and all's well
May 24, 200421 yr I don't find them cheap. I just don't see why you would need them. I can tell the difference just fine with the default models. 8)
May 24, 200421 yr i use them and although i guess they are a little cheap,not illegal.and i have a hard time seeing the diff. i have bad eyes. :?
May 24, 200421 yr Not to rain on anyone's parade but I hear you guys complain about the "realism" in FA and DC and here you are tampering with the vests, in real life they arn't gonna wear colored vests to differentiate themselves. If you want to use colored vests then I won't yell at you, but i think it's hypocritical.
May 24, 200421 yr how are they cheap? AFAIK they are match legal! I still have less respect for anybody who uses them.
May 24, 200421 yr I made some highlighted color models for a friend of mine, but he's colorblind and the defaults both looked green (or whatever green is to him) so I changed them to something he could tell apart.
May 24, 200421 yr Whatever can help you play the game and it's available to use and there are many different kinds of models out there not just these ones . . . it shouldn't be a problem for anyone to use them. 8) If ppl like using the default ones that's fine and if there are ppl who like using different ones then that fine. Like I said whatever you find is easier for you to tell the diference btwn red and blue it shouldn't really matter. Ok maybe in a clan match it might not be fair but other than that it shouldn't matter. :wink:
