I have recently had the time to check this game out. It's a great real life game and good graphics, which is half the battle. I didn't get any lag at all and had a great time playing. The training for flight school is a bit nerve racking but its all fun. If anyone wants to download it let me know and I'll send you a link from my site. As Firearms has sucked a great deal of bandwidth and I'm not sure how much more it will take, I want to keep this months distribution low on it so PM only please. Thanks

First, I would love to DL it, BangBang was supposed to get me a copy a while ago but never did. The only drawback i find is the racism.

Well, lets see... The fact that no matter which side you're on you always play as the glorious Americans. The bad guy skin is a stereotypical arab guy with a big beard and ak-47. I'm not saying the game sucks, but i think the government may have gone a little overboard by pouring over a billion dollars into that game.

Ok in relation to this, you can play Either American special forces, or American regular forces, indeginous forces, most WITHOUT beards, a choice of AK-47' 74, RPK, VSS, VSS variant sniper, Russian pistol, Spetsnaz specops version AK-74,Most of the time you play as either a commando or a black clad, balaclava wearing person in either black or grey camo.yeah you CAN play american forces, but its in NO WAY racist...

oh yeah forgot the RPG...

russian equipment is a must with terrorist and third world countries. they all have them. thew ak is the most produced and used weapon in the world

and if u listen to their voices...theres russian...pharce...and MAYBE french...not sure

It's still a steotypical figure. Just because it's called americas army doesn't mean you have to be american. There is a game i know called Panzer General... but you can be german, american, british, or even russian.

well thats false advertisement isnt it? Americas Army in no way implies that you can be anything other than that. Freedom of meaing in a title is just that free, but there is a reason for the name. And we are americans, we are allowed to sterotype, its what we do =]

ok lets put this into perspecrive, where is the terrorist leader Bin Liner... er ladin based.. afghanistan, where is afghanistan.. middle east.where was sadam insane based.. iraq, where is iraq? oh yeah middle east... What country harbers known terrorists...until recently... libya, where is that, er middle east.what country at the moment has a small war going on... Isreal+palastine.. where are these 2 countries... middle eastwhat country harbers more terrorists than all the others put together? I'm not aruguing that it's not a great game, it sure as hell is. I love AA, don't get me wrong, I was just complaining about the scenarios *coughpropogandacough*. But like i said, it's a kick ass game that I want to get (aka i don't have it yet, anyone have a way to send me one?)

Every map outside of Special Forces, and Radio Tower seem to be outside of the Middle East.)The game is based off current events.... so AA being racist?! I'm sure every person we've captured by now is middle eastern. It's a FACT that most terrorists come from the middle east because of their religious fanatics over there.

I'd much rather make a bigger issue out of stupid rambo MG'rs who run ahead right after you've thrown a grenade and destroy your much worked for honor points. Now that's something worth yelling about on a game board ;)Love the game, would keep playing if it wasn't for stupid teammates screwing up my honor score. Seems a shame that one of the few peaple who gain access to Sniper school hates to play because of that crap. *cackles evily as he plays with the M82 again***EDIT I removed the political aspects of my reply. Well guys use common sence here. This game was created for the purpose of beeing a recruiting tool. So it has every right to be propaganda for the army (PS: thats its main reason/goal) . And in this way it has every right to show all terrorists/foe's as beeing middle eastern. Remember america is at war with Iraq or atleast was.So now going back to the game i honestly think its a very realistic (almost a sim game). It has the dissatvantage of bugs here and there and that if u are with strangers its no fun at all

I'm severly missing voice communication. There is no way to tell these retards quick enough "don't go thru there, I thru a grenade". Although I doubt that would help... Frag out and a 5 second fuse and they still trip on my 'nades. ON RIVER BASIN NO LESS
