hey guys i will be on it tomorrow morning but at 10 i leave for summer leadership school.... ill be back to own you guys on the 13th =] i get to travel far... a whole few miles to Dover Air Force Base =]

Beginning June 6th, 2004, The Armory will host Desert Combat on Sundays and Mondays, in place of our Battlefield: Vietnam server.

 

The changeover should occur automatically at 5:00AM server time on Sunday and should return to BFV at 5:00AM on Tuesday morning.

 

The IP address will be 69.93.1.187.

 

This was also announced on our home page on June 1st.

 

If you don't have DC, it is a free download from http://www.finnerspage.com and other locations. It is a modern war modification for Battlefield: 1942.

When BFV came out everyone just stopped playing DC, it made me sad, yar. I hope this brings people back, it's just not the same playing on other servers.

I would like to play DC on your server, but everytime i look whos playing: nobody there or server down (like right now). When is the best time to join ( I live in europe) ?

Right before Gator left for FL, he and I talked about the eventuality of sharing resources between our teams. The idea was, that the <TAC> DC guys could play on our server (69.93.89.130:14567 DC BATTLEZONE 0.7 (USA)), and the DW guys that liked to play BFV could do so on yours. Whatever happened to that? I personally liked the idea.

The problem is that DC is already old school. You cannot compare the BF:Vietnam with a mod made for a game 2 years earlier. If they would make DC for BF:Vietnam it would ROXOR.
