June 14, 200421 yr Whenever I download anything anymore, it always downloads into a temporary folder and then opens it. It clicked something while regularly downloading and now it just does the temporary downloading thing. I know I can just right click and use save as target tab but I want it back so I can just click on a download link and have it ask where I want it placed on my computer. Any help would be appreciated. ThanksSharpshooter6Ask if you need this clarified, lol. 8)

I used it when my PC stopped asking about ZIP files. Quote from site... "Open Windows Explorer, and go to Tools | Folder Options. Select the File Types tab. Scroll down to the specific file type, and once highlighted, select the advanced button. Check the box Confirm Open after Download. These procedures will have to be repeated for all file types that you want to see the download prompt."
