Okay, see a bunch of us were playing on the FA server when the map was battlefield_r2 (godcow, azn, etc). Anyways I run all the way over to the other side of the map, and then sneak into their little guardpost building thing. I wait a few seconds and then dash right into their snipers head on. I then jump right over their bullets and get on top of them. Immediately I placed an arty marker and then died quickly after that. I spawn right next to my mortar and proceed to fire a mortar right on top of atleast 6-7 guys. Nothing happens. I fire another one and run up to my hill and watch. Nothing happens. The arty is bugged for 2.9 and I forgot. :x :x And then I cried... I also saw my first Helicopter Evacuation in 2.9 as well. You can't tell which bodies to treat anymore. :?

We've noticed that when steam discionnects most players, the ones left in are the ones using mortor. Making me actually think, , may be another arty related bug like 2.8 had.

Couldn't have been a spawn marker if it was where the snipers were because I believe snipers can't snipe from the spawn area unless it was Reds spawn then maybe. If you were on top of the canopy thing maybe.

lol, it was not a spawn marker. it was at the crest of the hill.

i played that map too,the marker was on top of hill the blue spawn is on the bottom so marker was ok,but your right it didn't hit us ,which was good cuz blue team got spanked anyways

just to clarify...if somebody places a marker at the bottom of that hill, so it can hit us in the spawn, will they be kicked?

 

i have seen a marker like this twice already on this map and have seen nothing done about it...

Since the arty isnt working properly in 2.9 then it shouldnt be a problem.
