[*]Written Text: 1. Sharpshooter6 2. FA 4 Life 3. TAC (Please place numbers between each line to signify different text parts on the gun - Don't make it too long either or it will be unreadable in-game.)

 

[*]Font: You don't have to be specific here, just tell me if you like what I did with Psy's gun or mine.

 

[*]Color: The color of the font is almost always white but if you have an irregular gun, tell me what color or I will choose.

 

[*]Flag/Image: Flags are the easiest to place on there so if you want one please list the country. (I may be able to do a flag on a magazine like I did with my famas but it has to have a non-transparent magazine.) I might also be able to place smaller images other thans flags on there as well, just list if you think you might want something.

 

[*]Misc: Anything else I might have forgotten or just something you want to see in your weapon concerning the skin.

yes. it is in the firearms/models folder and its called v_m4.mdl. send that too me.

I would actually like one of the G36 since that is what I am gonna start using instead of the M16. I would like to try and make one myself if you could let me know the software to use. Much apprecitaed.They say the M16 is bugged but I don't get it! :wink:

Adobe Photoshop (or anything like it - ex: paint) and Half-Life Model Viewer. Those are the only two.

I have psp7 and the viewer but I can't open the file in psp to change it. Maybe I am just dumb. LOL. Can you help? I usually pcik this kinda thing up pretty easily but this has dumbfounded me. Thank you

First you want to go to the tab titled "texture" in HLMV. Once you find whatever texture you need to modify, click the export button and save it some where. It is now a .bmp file so you can open it in photoshop or whatever. In photoshop you need to then change the mode to RGB rather than Indexed colors. And the you are free to do as you wish. Once you finish doing all the skinning, save it back to an 8bit file, indexed colors. And then go back in HLMV and import that texture to the same one open. After that, save the model and place back in firearms/models folder. Thats it.

as for sharpshooter6, would it be possible for you to make one of my guns have cow camo ? it would be really cool to have a cow camo gun that says GOT MILK? on the side!

i dont think i can do that cow...i dont know how to do that...
