OMGOSH! M79 is sweet ownage! ROFL! But seriously, I don't use it because I can't seem to kill many people with it. More power to those that can. 8)

but just to make you all happy, the m79 is not cheap just amazing annoying :twisted: i can understand using it to get people in hard to reach places, but you should also use a gun to better your aim and to not just rely on the spam launcher :mrgreen:

My aim is quite good with the m79, after a while you can get a feel for the trajectory and timing and hit running targets at long range. Spam is bombarding an area hoping for a hit based on numbers(just as mail SPAM). While that is useful in some cases, a good number of my kills with the m79 are just as aimed as a sniper kill. Of course, they still complain about spam after being picked off in this way.

The one thing I hate in this game are campers. People that don't do anything but snipe. You know what I'm talking about. The proners with an M82 and the bipod lying in a little corner bragging about how good they think they are. C'mon anybody can do that. When they rush they pull out that FAMAS which is still the ultimate noob weapon.

Being prone and bipodded with an m82 doesn't mean anything. The recoil is next to nothing, same with the scope sway. I'd like to see them use the m82 standing or crouched. Bet they couldn't.

bawaha m79 aint cheap its jus people complain when they get owned , i mean they always call my m82 cheap but i jus take it as a compliment

BEsides, fit yourself up with Full armour, legs arms and hat, Bandage Claymore and M79 and commence fragation....Also i sat and went 35-13 on Marie sitting sniping people trying to snipe me,.... then they complained i was camping HAHAHA... if they took an AR, and ran around the valley i wouldnt have stood a chance, but they kept trying to snipe me, Shotty+clay~FMJ is an awsome combo, only really good for CQC tho

It greatly depends of the player in fact. Unfair players use the m79 (or the arty skill on m16 and ak74) ramdomly to get "lucky" kills. Fair players with gl use it in a different way : they aim and they shoot when they see someone or when they know there's someone. It's this way I use it as many other players. And after, it's just with training, experience and luck, like all guns. How many times did I do a "one grenade, 3 kills" just because of 3 enemies a little wounded were standing closed together ? that's luck !And people using the combo FHA + Clay + m79 won't have a chance if they meet a guy in CQC... then you'll tell me "they don'trush, they let their teammates rush and they follow them and spam so the rsik for them to have a CQC is min". Agreed, totally agreed. Then spam too :mrgreen: or put friendly fire on (value 2 to avoid people beeing kicked after 2 TKs) and let's laugh on their "spammy TK" ! :twisted:

Map "ps_street" is a good field for nade_spammers. I have M79, M16 w M203 and 2 hand nades for this map.

M79 is cheap compeard to other weapons in FA. Why? Because you dont need much skill to use its just "hit and run", i new begginer that have started to play FA can learn to use it in one day.

We could say it for the famas too... and for claymores (manuals or tripped under water) and so on... each weapon needs train and skills, some more than others. I fear this post is going nowhere... so please let's end it now : we all have our own ideas about the weapons in FA, and I think no one will change his mind.
