July 8, 200421 yr ok i have this program that moniters my hardware cpu temp, sys temp, CPU voltage, the voltage from the power supply, ect...this morning i told me (with a very anoying beep) that the -5v on my mobo wasent geting enough volatge what can i do to fix this ????

July 8, 200421 yr Download Motherboard MonitorUse this.It has many options that let you make sure the mobo chip is being read properly so these things do not happen.The other thing is try to find the alarm range. Expand it a little. It may be too sensative.
July 9, 200421 yr Motherboard monitor is usually very reliable and should be close to being accurate, although I just found out that this handy tool will be discontinued, which sucks so future motherboards won't support this software. If you still get crazy readings and your handy with a multimeter then you should check the -5vcd on the 20pin power connector. It if not right then say goodbye to your power supply.
