July 26, 200421 yr OK - thanks for reading my offer in the spirit it was intended. As to the loss of focus:Perhaps I misunderstand how TAC normally operates. Based on my conversations with Gator I have always percieved TAC as a clan that doesn't really "compete" in the traditional sense. Meaning - while yes you participate n CAL and FAL - but I rarely ever heard much talk about clan trainings or serious competition. If that were the case - I would agree with that statement 100%. We see it internally with folks that play for both FA and DC teams - training schedule conflicts etc.We do hold trainings - twice a week - and we expect everyone to show up - where we heavily prepare strategies for upcoming matches. If you guys do the same - then my impression of TAC was wrong and I can see where doing that for 2 different clans would be overwhelming.
July 26, 200421 yr As a guest on your server i wanna point out my own opinion. Its useless to run a server, if no one is one the server or only a small group of people. Thats called: throwing out money of the window. But if you wanna play DC, there are many servers worldwide still running, why dont make dates and play there ? All TAC Members which play DC should find a way to play DC together. Why dont make your own server ? I have tried to play whith you guys DC, but never i saw anyone in the server (at my playing times/european). If the senior council makes the decision to shut down the server, its a right decision, if no one or only a few played there. In my clan, in the past, we had a room for years and we played a lot Action Quake. But the years flew by and we played less and less. And now we play FA. I am the only one you plays DC on my clan i think. I wanna play clan matches too, but my clan is too small for that. If nothing happens in the future, i will join another clan, which plays the games that i like mostly. I wanna say with that: Everyone must make is own decisions to leave or join a clan. A clan membership is no life time warranty. And if a clan shuts down a server with a game you liked, its no world desaster.
July 26, 200421 yr I guess I have some good news...I got a new video card today.I got an ATI Radeon 9200Hopefully that'll translate into alot less complaining about lag in my case.
July 26, 200421 yr You also need a good boost in memory CJ. If I recall your sys specs in another forum far far away - you listed your system as having 256 megs of RAM. Most of these games - DC included - run significantly better with 512 megs or higher (pref 1 Gig). When I first tried to play DC - I only had 256 megs and a 64 meg video card. FA never required me to install more. When I got my 128 meg card I could play - but still verrry laggy. Maps took forever to load. It wasn't til I slapped in another gig of ram (now 1.25 gigs) - that my game really was worth playing - lag free and the maps load quickly.
July 26, 200421 yr ya, well techincally he could use a system overhall, but not everyone has the cash for that
