4 player deathmatch?I'm buying Doom3, but not for the mp. For the single player and the awesome deal Futureshop has on it (buy it and get Knights of the Old Republic and a new Sound Card free)

LOL, you do know that Doom3 does not utilize the soundcard at all to do its awesome sound scheme. They coded all the sound stuff so that it is processed by the CPU only. Onboard sound will sound as good as say an Audigy 2 platinum.

and actually, chances are you will have better speakers hooked up to an audigy two platinum anyway, so it will sound better

sorry not into monsters and only being able to play against 3 other people isnt something I am looking for. At least that is what I heard...you can only have 4 people in a server.

Well, there are rag doll physics, the problem is AI monsters tend to disintegrate unless they take just enough dammage to fall down dead (eg: 1 pistol shot to the head) Stuff that egts thrown around by explosions etc... rag dolls nicelyI dunno, the game gives me a headache, I tend to strain my eyes alot to see what monster is ambushing me form a dark corner next.Heh, the other thing is that the Dawn of War open beta started the same day I got Doom3, and well, I love RTSes, so I've been playing alot of it as well and think it's more fun. ;)
